Much more powerful than previous Husqvarna Lawn Tractor, but noisy. Better on hills. Originally had mulch control fitted, but have removed as use mower for cutting long grass in paddock and found that the side discharge aperture was too small with Mulch control fitted. Mulch kit is great for lawn though. Tows trailer well. Find deck rather difficult to clean, without mulch gate. Overall a very versatile machine which is reliable.

4.5 out of 5. Lovely to have a John Deere again. Had an old X300 years ago. I changed to a Stiga, before buying a John Deere X350 with mulch deck this year. The Stiga was better at getting under bushes as it had a front deck, but sadly not reliable. Like the fact that parts are readily available from John Deere.

Hydrostatic transmission is really smooth. Central deck height adjuster is really easy to use from the seat and steering is much lighter than my previous John Deere mower. Great mower.
