We're delighted to share Vicky Escott from our Country Store team is now fully qualified to prescribe certain veterinary medicines under the Veterinary Medicines Regulations.
Vicky has been working extremely hard as she undertook her AMTRA exams at the beginning of the year to become a fully qualified SQP (Suitably Qualified Person) to prescribe and/or supply certain veterinary medicines.
Vicky is currently able to supply medicines for:
companion animals (pets)
She is also working towards completing her equestrian exams so will also be able to supply medicines for horses very soon!
Masons Kings Exebridge store now stocks a wide variety of animal medicines suitable for farm animals and pets. Vicky will be on hand to assist you with your purchase of any medicines in store.
Our range includes dog, cat, cattle, sheep, pig and poultry medicines, supplements and health care.
A key part of Vicky's role is to ensure that you, as the animal owner, are provided with full advice on the choice of medicine and its safe and effective use. This is achieved by understanding the individual circumstances of the animal, considering animal health plans and applying best practice in disease and parasite control strategies.
Vicky will play a vital role in keeping the South West’s animals healthy, increasing accessibility to animal medicines, and provide owners with advice on the safe use of these medicines.
