Skanska & Masons Kings partnership grows from strength to strength

We were pleased to handover 3 new John Deere 6130R tractors last week (7/2/20).

 

 

These tractors will help keep the county’s roads safe, working across the Devon Highways maintenance contract – a partnership between Devon County Council and Skanska.

The new tractors will join the fleet which Masons Kings have supplied since 2017.

We were pleased to be joined by 3 of the drivers Harry Hutchings, Micky Phipps and Jason Willetts as well as Dan Trott Cyclical Manager and Josh Hutchings Cyclical & Services Agent.

After a few photos the team took part in Installation Training from our team of experts at Masons Kings, Clayton Brimblecombe and Andrew Chave.

The training is vital for all new machinery drivers/owners to teach them how to optimise the machine so it performs at it’s peak. It also allows knowledge and experiences to be shared to give the drivers as much confidence as possible.

Training during handover ensures better use of the machinery from day one, it also decreases downtime as the machinery has been used properly and means the drivers are more competent.

 

 

We were also pleased to invite the team to join our newly launched Masons Kings Driver’s Club. This exclusive club is a community for our customers who have purchased a new machine from us. The group provides a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences, providing members with an opportunity to be the first to hear about product news from Masons Kings as well as receive some exclusive offers.
