John Deere’s alternative parts provider Vapormatic, is pleased to announce the launch of two aftermarket single DIN DAB+ radio kits
The demand across Europe is growing fast for aftermarket audio radios that receive DAB (digital audio broadcasting) signals. The number of radio stations transmitting via DAB is expanding rapidly and markets are transitioning away from AM/FM signal transmission to DAB.
John Deere’s alternative parts provider Vapormatic, is pleased to announce the launch of two aftermarket single DIN DAB+ radio kits (one with and one without an integrated CD player) which provide audio control / Can-BUS (Control Area Network) integration, with John Deere CommandARM™, Gen4 CommandCenter™ and linked hotkeys.
These radio kits not only include a high quality JVC multi-functional radio unit, but also a wiring interface that enables the radio to be Can-Bus compatible, an integrated AM/FM to DAB+ signal converter that enables an existing AM/FM antenna to receive DAB signals, a microphone for hands free mobile phone or tablet communication and installation instructions.
Developed exclusively for Vapormatic in partnership with JVC Kenwood, both aftermarket radio kits are approved for use on John Deere 6R, 7R, 8R and 9R tractor model series fitted with either CommandARM™ soft-touch and Gen4 CommandCenter™ touch screen control. Along with high quality DAB audio and Bluetooth® wireless technology, both JVC radios provide convenient in-cab control of the following audio functions; TRACK and CHANNEL UP / DOWN, MUTE and VOLUME ADJUSTMENT.
Integrated DAB+ converter for DAB+ reception from existing AM/FM antenna
Radio kits include an integrated DAB converter which allows AM, FM and DAB radio signal output using an existing AM/FM antenna; removing the need to install an additional DAB glass or roof mounted antenna to receive a DAB signal.
