New Cab

The new 7R features the by far most luxurious and technologically advanced cab anyone has ever seen, while our engineers payed attention to every detail. It’s the biggest and the quitest cab available. The access to it easier than ever, with a low door handle, wider steps and so forth. It has a 2 x larger fridge in a more convenient location and plenty of other storage areas. It features an improved cab suspension or alternatively the Active Seat II. Perforated leather, seat ventilation, massage functionality and much more. Convenience Lights as a nice detail and new LED lights that double the illumination power again from what was benchmark already. The infotainment nothing less but exceptional, with a 6,5” Touchscreen DAB+ radio, 6 speakers plus subwoofer and featuring Apple CarPlay compatibility for your iPhone.

 

 

CommandPRO

CommandPRO is now an available option on all 7R Tractors equipped with an AutoPowr transmission. Already a popular option on 6R Tractors, CommandPRO is a unique driving strategy that puts total machine control at your fingertips. The ergonomic CommandPRO joystick is fully customisable and integrated into the CommandARM.

 

 

Sales Editions and New Package Strategy

The “John Deere Signature Edition”, bundling the most high spec configuration available, will complete the currently available Select, Premium and Ultimate Editions. A staggered list price advantage that grows with the Edtion level is there to help stimulate the upselling.

In a next configuration step, various different “Packages” can be chosen to further fine-tune the machine specification to individual customer needs.

i. Comfort & Convenience Packages (Select/Premium/Ultimate)

ii. Visibility Packages (Select/Premium/Ultimate)

iii. Connectivity Packages (Premium/Ultimate)

The level of the previously chosen “Edition” defines the level of “Packages” available. A Select Edition for example will allow Select or Premium Packages (no compatibility with the Connectivity Packages). A Premium Edition will require at least Premium Packages while upgrading to Ultimate Packages is possible (Connectivity Packages remain optional). A Ultimate Edition will require Ultimate Packages but still leave the Connectivity Package optional. The John Deere Signature Edition requires all Packages to be Ultimate and also requires a front hitch.

Proven Reliability and Dependability

The latest 7R tractors already show less failures as the legendary 10 series. The new 7R will be even better. First and foremost this was possible through a new “design by data” approach allowing engineers to gain a much better understanding of customer usage profiles and to react much quicker to required improvements during the design and testing period. Just to mention a few additional improvements that will become effective with the new 7R:

• Up to 100 fewer hydraulic connections and possible leak points
• All new Hydraulic Sectional Steering Valve (HSSV) combines steering and AutoTrac valves for reduced complexity
• Increased part reuse from 8R Tractors for added reliability
• Reduced diagnostic time with new System Diagnostic User Interface
• Service decal located on the side of the radiator points out key service locations and intervals
• New AutoPowr software for an improved engine transmission management, especially in combination with the CommandPRO

As soon as the tractor is ordered with any Connectivity Package it comes with JDLink Connect for 5 years. Featuring Wireless Data Transfer to be fully connected with the Operations Center and enabling John Deere Connected Support and Expert Alerts to keep customers up and running

· StarFire 6000 Integrated Receiver

Optionally installed at the factory, the StarFire 6000 Integrated Receiver reduces set-up time and eliminates TCM calibrations. The integrated design prevents theft effectively.
