Kramer KT557 Telehandler
The sturdy telehandler KT557 is designed for extremely demanding tasks. Trailer loads of up to 20 tonnes are no problem. The 156 hp Deutz engine (exhaust emission level V) combined with the standard ecospeed PRO drive system ensure excellent handling capacity. Partly-automated work cycles using the Smart Handling system can significantly increase the mass movements per hour. The multifunctional load stabiliser allows for a gentle application for man and machine.

Previously had JCB’s 560-80’s. After our 4th JCB we made the change because of niggly problems with the last two machines. Had headstocks fail on both, just out of warranty period. Dealer wasn’t overly helpful. MK was recommended to us by a friend who told us that their Aftercare was second to none. As we only run one machine, every day, this was of utmost importance to us. Didn’t know much about Kramer’s before this.
We’ve now owned the machine since March 2023. Its a vastly superior machine to the JCB in my opinion. Much more responsive and faster. The JCB was very slow. Lifting capacity is a bit lower, but not enough to worry about. Took a little bit of getting used to, but pleased that we made the change. Would recommend MK too. So far have been really good. Reminded me about service and telephoned on two occasions to make sure everything was ok.
