The MS 172 is a Compact 31.8 cc chainsaw designed domestic users for cutting firewood, grounds maintenance and felling small trees. More powerful than the MS 162, with a choice of 12″ or 14″ bars for cutting larger timber. With 4 new features its an impressive replacement for the  previous MS 180. 3/8″ P saw chain and  Stihl 2-mix engine for great cutting performance and low fuel consumption.

The new improved control lever automatically returns to idle, meaning that the risk of flooding and poor starting are significantly reduced. The Anti-vibration springs give a smoother cutting experience and the transparent fuel and oil tanks make it easy to see when to top up. Modular design means that spare parts are easily obtainable and the diagnostic socket gives your Service dealer additional information in the event of a fault.

This product is available for delivery within the UK and NI. We use various National couriers and stock products are usually dispatched within 2 working days after receipt of order.  Product will arrive boxed and require basic assembly, fuel, oil, etc.

Shipping rates vary according to location, size, weight and type of product.

Local Collection is available on all products from one of our depots in Exebridge – Somerset, Chudleigh – Devon or St.Columb in Cornwall.

If collecting, we can also offer you our Essential Care Package. Where we can fully setup and assemble the product for you. This will include the addition of fuel and oil, etc. We can also offer a full handover with basic product training, and advice on use and maintenance.
